i would imagine the only issue might be extra heat transfer from the heads... might run into over heating of fuel... but then again, i'm sure the block transfers a good deal of heat anyways so it may be a non-issue... i'm sure someone else has probably dealt with this before... maybe time to go electric lol
 
Alright I figured I would update this since I forgot about this thread. My dad and I got the engine back together and running last weekend and everything seems fine. We jetted the Demon down 2 sizes and it seems to have taken care of the rich issue. The only issue we had was after running it for a couple of minutes we found that the 3 year old Powermaster alternator gets EXTREMELY hot. It still charges but overheats for some reason. We pulled that off and I gave him my new alternator off of my 496 and everything is fine now. Im thinking the Powermaster has a bad bearing since everything else seems fine. Not too big of an issue right now though.
