On the 'mildly' Cheap SS Monte Carlo chasing a 9.0___

Greetings Jim & all; WOW, that FUN Factor is off the scale! If memory serves I seen that 9.99 run (Ole brain) & the sound was Sweet. You & your son will remember this past week for the rest of your life's. And for the guys that broke, well you will also remember the event?
Oh the wife just looked over my shoulder, seen this "This world needs more Ole Bob's". As she walked away she muttered something, Oh No. As I have aged a bit it's the "people" - us that have pistons, cranks, cams & gears in our heads that drive us forward in this great hobby- pursuit. The challenge of making the most with the friends & tools ya have. Hammer Down ,Ole' Bob. Ps: A couple of Byron pictures from 71.

Geesh vanrah, usually most wives of the guys I know have to meet me in person before they mutter under their breath about my comments....so I guess I'm getting better with age 😉

A short video. The quality on the phone was much better, but the video has been resent a couple of times

I have no idea what the guy in the other lane was doing, he staged both lights, then backed out as my light turned green. I kinda panicked and didn't leave. Then decided to go after I couldn't find anyone flagging me down to stop.

What PN CPP rear bar did you end up buying?

Happy with the results?

My 2dr S10 bar was fine until I got into the 1.6 60ft and now it's torqueing over. I need to look into a larger bar.

A little better quality video of the launch. This was the second fastest pass the car has ran. Replaying in slow motion is pretty neat imo 😉

Sweet. Nice launch and a straight run with no twitching or dancing. Both rides looked pretty even from the perspective of the camera, so who won?

I lost. She ran an 8.8 or something like that.

More of a video of figuring out if the car and tire and working. That was 1.40 60' (PB)

More fuel.

Third pump is in. Just have to get it wired.

1st and 2nd pump :

Had to modify pump 1 and 2’s mounting bracket due to longer fitting on the fuel filter inlet :
