I have a 1980 Cutlass Supreme w/260 4.3 v8. I think it has a turbo 350 trans but may have a 200 not sure can anyone verify? I just have been messing with the stereo. Now, I want to focus on a new motor, upgrade trans, and rear end possibly 3.08 gearing maybe higher. As far as motors I have been looking for a 403. What do you think? I'm looking for a little direction or some tips. Thanks.

Check to see if the tail shaft is bolted on or not, a TH200 will not have a bolt on tail shaft and is a one piece case.
i was wondering the same thing i'm trying to upgrade the 307 V8 in there and was wondering what a good replacement would be
