From what I understand, they’re worth a good margin in the circle track community. Maybe not a highway gear option, but I think they’re getting to be scarce.

Hell, guess I did good then, I got $300 for my old 7.5. Although it did have 3.23's and an Auburn posi in it.

Sold my 3.73 posi 7.5" for $500 CDN a few years back... and the buyer arranged freight on his own dime.

I'd probably pay that to have a spare -- if it actually was a posi. Never heard of a 2.31 posi though.

2.31:1 - those are G-body salt flat gears. Makes me wonder how many G-body's have made it to the salt flats..

After posting this I really didn't think anyone would be willing to pay that kinda price for a 7.5 with airplane gears. I only paid $50 for the 2.73 one legger I'm using.
