Part interchangeability question

Sorry for the slow response. My book only goes back to 82. The 305 uses 5234845, the 307 uses 5233475. Not the answer you were looking for, but hope this helps.

Interestingly, this site shows the two part numbers I listed above as interchangable. Look at HR475 on this site.....

1978 Olds Cutlass uses a 5233475 which is a common part number. it's in the 307 for the years 83 to 88.

The TBI engines 88-up tended to have a spacer body without the rattle potential.
