I know someone said they used them. But if they don't take Paypal I wouldn't even try them. That is a red flag.

That's not a red flag. I know a couple of guys who own businesses and got paid through Paypal. The each had a customer file a bogus complaint so they had a sizable amount of $$ held up by Paypal which took over a month to resolve. If a place takes a credit card that is good enough for me cause I do not use Paypal. I use a prepaid credit card from my bank and if there is any problem I can do something about the payment and with it being prepaid I can keep a small amount on it so it it ever compromised I'm not worried....

The manufactures probably have no idea who they are, they are set up through a warehouse distributor doing dropships direct to customers out of the warehouse.

Just like Pitstopusa, anybody who lists stuff on amazon/ ebay etc.

Right now they have a data feed issue. We are one of Tuffstuffs biggest customers (motorstate) and our cost on one of those parts is over 150 more than that.

I bought some ARP studs from there and had no issues and they had the best price, shipping was fast also.
I was going to just price match with Jegs but figured I would just give them a try for the 1 item.
How much were the studs? If you don't mind me asking.

I'm sorry that happen to someone you know. But No paypal "Is" a red flag. They can't get their money back if the seller does things right. If they sold them something and shipped it, a simple tracking number would have made pay pal go with the seller faster. That link you posted is nothing I would ever click. That site is clearly built to slander pay pal, the name shows that. Anyone could have made it is what I'm saying.
I have 15ish years with pay pal I have had some troubles yeah, but every single one was half my own fault for not handling the sale correctly.

The prepaid card method you use is a very good idea.
