degreeing in the cam--pain in the neck the first time you try, but always a good idea compcams xe274h-10 1.5 roller tip rockers










this was is so much easier than an engine lift!!!!





think i adjusted my valve lash wrong? luckily i found this before breaking in the cam.



this was a sticker on my oil pan--guess the oil got a little hot during break in. the header paint didn't last long either.

what degree did you set the cam too. what exactly happened to those push rods?
 
i set the cam at it's normal spot--comp cams cuts then 4deg advanced. as for the pushrods--what i believe happened is that i'm an idiot. i must have set the valve lash correctly, then a few days later i noticed that the pushrods were a little loose and readjusted them. stupid me didn't remember that the lifters would have collaspsed. luckily i only readjusted #1 cyl and i noticed the problem before break in but after i had rotated the engine over a few times. whatever, they were old rods any way.

those 1.5 rockers you list, are those the roller tipped or full roller?
