Pinout for Connector

Hi Guys, not sure weather I should post in the both of the threads. but the gauge cluster tests out perfect. but checking the connector on the vehicle side it seems my short is in the oil sender circuit then also in the dash lights I have a fault but it hasn't blown a fuse yet (just gives the warning chime) which for me is non urgent since I don't drive at night.

on another note I followed my oil sender circuit into the engine bay and it was connected to this switch is that correct?, if so has anyone replaced the wiring and how much of a pain is it going to be because from what I can see it looks to be routed up over the transmission before going into the car

thanks in advance for the help

no need to post in each thread....I can't see the connection in the picture but before you start replacing wires you shoudl find out the source of the problem. The wire that goes to the temp senor and oil sensor do not carry any power. The sensors ground, when the engine temp is too high or the oil pressure too low. The signal the sensors send is which is measured in ohms. If the wire was bared and touching metal it would not blow a fuse, it would turn on the warning light.

Thats the idle stop solenoid you have pictured. I'm guessing you traced the wire incorrectly.

so I assume that means my fault is somewhere before the cluster? between the fuse and the cluster connection
also drogg1 I thought that was the case would you by chance know where I would find the oil pressure sensor on my 305?

just above your oil filter...

so after some crazy troubleshooting, I found what I suspect to be my short. its ether my ignition switch or somewhere between there an my cluster, does anyone have a copy of the pin-out for the ignition switch wiring?
