I like the flames, paint etc. I say just soup that thing up under the hood and call it a day man.
Nice car

Nice car

I did a little... it had an old tired 305 that threw a rod bearing so i grabbed up a 350 and did a little wrenching... 350sbc full roller... eagle rotating assembly, LT4 hot cam, edelbrock e-tec200 heads, magnum pushrods, 1.6 roller rockers, edelbrock performer RPM intake, topped with an old q-jet... but will have the street demon 750...

Nice sounds like a cool set up!

I saw this car, very nice buy for the money. Did see that she had some issues under the hood though... 8)

SOME ISSUES... LMAO... looked like some clown got bored with a weed wacker and went to town on the wiring, the choke was wired up on the carb, the TV cable was ZIP TIED ON, the heat was bypassed, the radiator filled with rust brown water/coolant... JUST TO NAME A FEW ISSUES... but, all that said, after a new heater core, a couple new hoses, she now has heat... a radiator flush (just till the new one gets here), and coolant looks clean... new TV cable (thanks to who ever posted the thread on how to adjust it properly)... and the wired up choke just needed some use and its back to working... oh, and the surface rust on the valve covers and a dozen years of dust sure did make it look rough... valve covers surprisingly cleaned up nice for how bad they were... i had a 15+ year old bottle of "the original navel jelly rust dissolver" that just ate away the rust in minutes... its coming along... just ordered a little over $1300 worth of chrome (or as my wife calls it, shiney sh*t we dont need) for under the hood... as soon as everything gets here n i get it installed pics will follow...

Seems like these cars are so prone to having hacked up wiring for some reason.

thats cause everyone always swaps the motors and then decide to try and take out the ecm and start cutting wires, and ALOT of people dont know wtf they are doing, THE INSIDE OF MY DASH LOOKS INSANE... i have slowly been tracing all the dead ended wires and getting rid of them...

It's sad too with the wiring harnesses being easy to swap out complete. When I did my v6 to v8 swap it was easy to change the harnesses out, just plug and play.

I like that color and the rims but the flames and side skirts should have stayed in the 80s. Anymore pics???

Well it is a 80s car, that is like saying the fins on a 57 Bel-air should have stayed in the 50s. 😀

i like the skirts, i like the paint, only thing i am not thrilled with is the rims, but they did polish up really nice, of course i also spent a day doing each wheel with a dremel and a can of mothers aluminum paste... the skirts make it a little tougher to reach under the sides of the car but i like them none the less... and yes, my car screams 80's, especially withe the t-tops off and my radio blaring 80's rock, maybe i should grow a mullet... I'M ON A HIGHWAY TO HELL... lol
