Something of interest from the Silver Grand Am that is showing under post #63. I have read the article on this car from the magazine Road & Track. This car ( not the same as the black car) had a 4-speed Borg Warner and..............get this..............8.5 Positraction with a 3.23 rear. What's interesting is the 8.5 was not available under the A/G bodies until 1984. And did I mention the 301-4V had 190 bhp?

There is 1980 Grand Am still showing up for sale in Ontario region under Kijiji. And...…….this past summer...……..a chap in Nova Scotia was selling a 10th Anniversary Grand LeMans……….red and white. I'm not sure if it sold after...………...I think I still have his number.

I was no fan of winter....didn't go far enough south though.
Also the poor economy of the time. Seems things have improved since.
