Hi to all out there....

I have stock gears on my elko and only one tires turns when I burn out.... Is it worth putting in a posi unit and changing out the gears....? I want to tear the streets up!!!! lol...What gears are recommended?

If you just want to burn some rubber and have fun throw in a set of 3.73 gears and a used posi unit and call it good.

X2.....................Maybe even some 3.55 as you have the 305 Motor.....You will love the step up bro 8)
 
How much do you think it will all cost? i heard of 3:73 gears and alot of my friends love it....will that 355 put a smile on my face?
 
If he has the O/D transmission then go with the 4.10 gears, w/o the o/d not higher then the 3.73 though. But WTF, Back in the day, cars came with 4.56 gears....LOL

LOL...ya thats what im talking about...i willsee whats up...4.10 or 3.73...i guess i will have fun with both..i just want to tear up some asphalt....do you think I can get a good deal on EBAY?
 
You can find good deals on E-Bay, might I suggest that you post it here in the parts wanted section...I think a while back 3xbrown cutty had some gears for sale...I may be wrong though..

Yeah back in the day gas was .10 cents a gallon too
