Correct. If it's factory original, the G80 would confirm a "posi". But in all cases for 83-87 VIN 9 cars, G80 was optional. Back then dealers ordered a lot of floor plan cars with the WL7 popular option package or other packages. But one thing that was never included was the G80. So unless you had a savvy dealer or specifically asked for it, you were likely never going to see posi on a typical dealer-ordered car.
