Not finished obviously but the stance is about where I want it. Might go a big lower once all the glass, interior, etc. are in the car.

Sorry, this is the only digital picture I have of mine handy. It is an '81 with 2" drop spindles in the front and 1.5" drop at the rear. It was dyno'd at 425 horse, it had a 4 core radiator in it, 400 SBC, 700r4, and true 2.5" dual exhaust, 8.5" rear with ~2.23 posi rear end (I built it in '95 and it got rear-ended which totalled it out in '98). I put full anti-sway parts under it, put in all new poly bushings everywhere. I had a class 3 receiver hitch on the back. I originally built this car/motor to tow my 20' boat to the lake, with the AC on, with a car full of people and it it did that very well.

At the time bigger wheels were quite expensive and I already had a set of 4 of the wheels like those on the rear (and a set of the factory ones like on the front came on the car). So I just used what I had. what you see there are American Racing 14x8 wheels with 255-60-14 tires. The front would work, but the fronts would rub the tires on the inner fender if cranked all the way, and would rub the inside of the front wheels against the A-arms if cranked past where the tires rubbed. The backspacing just wasn't right for that car once it was lowered. Now, with all the wheel choices that are out there, it would be easy to find a tire/wheel combo to work.

I never got to finish the car, yet another careless driver took care of that car for me too. I have only had a couple of cars in my life that someone hasn't ran into. 😳 😳 😳
