This is the response I got from Hypertech, my car does not have O/D transmission and no one I've taken this car to has found a computer or stock chip, I was told by a mechanic only cars with fuel injection have that.

You must have a computer to operate the vehicle

Pull up a 1984 oldsmobile brochure. Show them a 3.8 with auto and overdrive never existed and could not be ordered.

Regardless if someone moved the computer, which can also be deleted with a late 70s setup, there is and never was an OD option.

Push the no overdrive trans in the brochure ordering.

Yes, the majority of Canadian cars were non CCC till 86 and sbc powered.
