Power Windows

So far I've done the passenger side and replaced the old motor with a new one as well as the LMC relay harness.
It made a huge difference in the speed of the window going up and down.

do you have a schematic for this? thanks.

yup, thanks to Jared (Texas82GP) this is the diagram I went by, the ground going to pin 87 is missing in the diagram...

If you put One of these in each door and run a 10 gage wire to battery + and a good ground, the motors should speed up.

The LMC kit does the same thing, but you don't have to splice a bunch of wires.

The other diagram is for "3 wire" or "common ground" power window motors, like in an F-body. G-bodies have "2 wire" power windows, so you have to run ground wires not shown of the F-body diagram.

As far as I know, F and G body window motors are the same 2 wire, reversing polarity motors. Now, the swiches may be different. However, it should be the same wiring as 5 wide door locks. Both of the above diagrams should work provided that 87a on the relays is grounded.

I should have said "Second Gen F-body". They used common ground motors and not reverse polarity motors.
