OOF! I had a bad run of them- will never buy another. I had 3 go to a shorted cell after 2 years.

The one I just replaced lasted well over ten years..

Anything over 5 years is pretty good, most issues are a result of poor maintenance and or leaving in vehicles over winter.
East Penn makes carquest batteries and they are a decent supplier.

Is that bad? I have had good luck with Wally World (MAXX) batteries they where branded something else a while back can’t recall what.
Can’t see spending 150 + for a battery at autozone or anywhere else, auto Parts suppliers give max a 3 year Napa same thing
I've seen good life expectations out of a East Penn Battery (Deka) & got a Wally World one to replace the wife's '07 Santa Fe's original factory battery last spring.

Everstart used to be the name, and Everstart MAXX was the higher end warranty version. Sounds like maybe the trim level became the brand like silverado.

I bought a Maxx battery from Wally in August of last year (2019). Earlier this month, my wife's radio had a short that drained the battery completely 3 times before I could figure out what was wrong. Battery wouldn't take a charge after the third time. 5.7 volts was all I could get. Took it to Wally and they swapped it out. No issues, no questions, no grief. Cheaper than most other places, Wally is everywhere and they usually don't hand out a lot of crap about it. I have no complaints with Wally batteries so far.
