Problems with Weiand Intake Mainfold

Hey guys,
I got a new Weiand intake Mainfold for my 80 cutlass with the 305. I am having a big problem when it comes to hooking on the accelerator diaphragm and assembly. There is a should on the new intake that prevents it from
Lining up. Any ideas? I can take pics if needed.

What carb are you putting on the intake? If it is a stock QuadraJet carb, You can use the stock throttle cable bracket from a 80's Olds 307 since it bolts to the back two bolts.

Mine currently has the bracket that bolts to the back two bolts. However there is a shoulder on the manifold that prevents it from sitting down onto the bolts.
