BUILD THREAD Project long time coming

Thank you for the compliment! Means even more coming from you because I know how particular you are about your vehicles.
You're welcome! Thanks for the kind words. Let's not forget that I'm the hack that painted his engine compartment with a brush!

Lots to go over, but I'm hungover. Went to a concert last night and I'm not as young as I used to be LOL

If you need a new brake booster check valve or grommet, here's the link. My grommet was ripped and I remember someone on here was having issues finding one. Raybestos brand too.

I had all sorts of issues with the power steering. Once I got the fitting from Lee Manufacturing I thought that was the hard part. After a quick internet search, Google showed that JIC and AN fittings were interchangeable. They in fact are not.
I had a local shape make a JIC hose and then found out it wouldn't fit.
So I tried a couple of fuel system AN fittings I had and they wouldn't fit. Figured they were probably just junk aftermarket cheapies. So I called Lee and asked what style end is on their fitting. I was told it was an AN end.
I ordered a ps line from ICT Billet. They had a generic 18" long ps line with AN ends. It didn't screw on. The threads on the Lee fitting were wrong, damaged, whatever.
Now this entire time I only used my fingers to try fittings on. As soon as they stopped threading on, I backed them off.
Called Lee, they said they hadn't seen anything before and they would ship another out. Good on them but I wanted to get this is up and running this weekend.
Took a file to the threads and finally just stuck it in a vise and cranked a fuel system AN fitting on it. It did go on, but you can also see what it did to the threads. Decided to just send it and install the new ICT hose and tighten it down. Hopefully it only needs to go on once LOL

Had to go to the junkyard and get the coil harnesses, a couple of spare coils, a TPS sensor, and an IAC valve.
Found all of them except the IAC. I had to buy one locally and got raped on it price wise but that's my fault for not planning ahead.

I had an issue with the location of the map sensor. Since I'm dbc, the cable is in the way of the sensor, or vice versa. This allowed me to remote mount it. The other issue became the mount for the sensor itself. Those are available, but seem very expensive for a simple block of aluminum with two holes drilled in it. This was my fix. Couple of fittings and a piece of tubing a voilà! Not the prettiest, but when I get an chance I'll make a better looking mount out of aluminum instead of paying $50 for it.

In this pic you can see the valve cover breathers aren't hooked to anything, and the vacuum ports on the intake are plugged. Need to figure out how I want to run that system.

Forget which is which one is 37° with is 45° then there's another for LP/NG stuff.
Depending on what you're trying to do yes they can interchange.

FWIW You are pushing ~1000psi with the PS steering system

JIC and AN are both 37°. Yes I know about the pressure. The line I used from ICT and the JIC line I had made are both rated for more than that pressure
