Blueboy84 said:Well, long story short, I've decided to give the 305 a wake up call. My goal is to get it somewhere around 260-270 hp. Modest but a vast improvement.
Right now, the car is stock, except for the TES Headers and 2 1/2" exhaust through Flowmaster Super 40s.
Some will argue that this is a complete waste of time, effort and money. That's ok. I'm looking at this as a learning experience and will use my learns and burns to help me ultimately put a 383 in sometime in the not too distant future.
I know some of you have posted questions on waking up the 305 and there are several good build threads here on the site. I'm hoping this blog serves several purposes: 1) To keep me motivated to get the job done, 2) To help those like me who aren't very experienced or knowledgable in this area have the courage to take on a similar project, and 3) so those that could do this with their eyes closed can give me some pointers along the way!!
So here we go... comments/suggestions welcome and much appreciated. Thanks for looking guys!
Great looking car....really like the "old school wheels"....they look great on it.
