You don't need a upper valance do you? I ordered a vfn fiberglass one then ended up selling the car lol. That hatch is pretty sharp mean lookin little cars unfortunately I'm 6'6" just wasn't meant to be

I'm hoping this gets built! visually it looks as though the rear is heavy with the huge piece of glass, it may change with the larger c-pillar you mentioned... another way to break the look up is maybe incorporate the 1/4 glass, and cut the roof just slightly after the trailing edge of the glass. either way, this thing is going to look bad-*ss with the roadrace look to it!

This is a monte done up to that effect I'm not real keen on the look it kinda looks like a chopped Magnum but I'm also not much for fancy paint which might also skew my perspective

close to what I was thinking, but yeah, I never liked the curved/sloping rooflines the wagons have nowadays....

If you pushed the pillar forward to where the 1/4 glass originally stopped, and kept the original lines on the roof and D-pillar, I think the effect would look more factory and less "wow"... I'm not a huge fan of over the top builds, guess I'm a little weird that way....

I searched for an hour, and this is the closest I could find to what I was thinking... I know it's not a g-body car, but the original 1/4 window and some of the original c-pillar were retained, along with the roofine...

Top is the updated version bottom is old image I still think the top of the c pillar needs to be a little thicker but it'll probably end up turninh out different then the image and I'll just roll with it lol

Well I had big plans of filing my new rings to fit and getting the short block assembled a little more but as my luck would have it ordered rings Tuesday none here by Friday I stayed busy with other projects but I like to at least do one thing for each project a week so I shaved my truck intake or most of it still have to do tgr fiberglassing to make it flat again and have 2 top holes to fill yet

Got my rings in took the pistons in and out all day first measuring ring end gap and then put the pistons in with no rings to measure for oil clearence on the rods

Pretty much all were in between .0015-.002 favoring the .002 so they we're right where I wanted them.

Thought about using my old cast rings but ended up getting some cheap moly rings filled them to .026 and started to go to town on assembling the short block now I'm just waiting on lifters

Haven't done much to the engine been getting the intake prepped for paint. Also ordered a bunch of parts wanted to get something done but apparently I don't have all the parts to do anything so I ordered more
