Not really a g body update but I'm giving away a vfn fiberglass upper valance I had ordered for the Vega I had before the regal. So if you have any friends needing this peice just send them the link and they'll have a chance to win it. No money just subscribe to the channel, and leave a comment. Want this to go to someone who can use it. Whether that's on a car or just a wall hanger I don't have room for it anymore

I see in the new vid you closed up above the tail light. What does it look like?

I haven't closed in the tail light area yet I just slid the c pillar down a little when I pulled the roof down an inch been really anxious about getting back on the car but don't have the cash for parts or supplies. Just bought the door for the garage and some LED light fixtures drained my bank account again:blam:

So alot of you guys that follow me around the forum started following me on this thread. I have to admit it's sad to think it's been over a year since I've posted an update on the regal.

I know from when I started on the car till now the direction has changed, and to keep you all up to speed everything besides finishing the body up is pretty much out the window. With how close I am to having my other project finished it doesn't make sense to keep this a stock suspension car(as my valiant is already small tire car)
I think I last left off with the front end stripped and the 6.0 mounted in place.y plan now is to source a new ecotec3 4.3 v6 (w a turbo)to put in the car with a th400. I think it's the right thing to do with the car to keep the heritage. And it also seems that not many people are playing with these new v6's. The lt based engines seem to be quiet a few steps ahead from ls and would really like to get one to mess with. I plan to cut out the rear suspension and back half with a 4 link to make room for some steam rollers. Put front back together with tubular and light weight parts. And build and 8.50 cert cage for it. As any of you that follow me know I'm not good at timelines and it seems if I make plans they seem to never go "as planned" so all I'll say is it'll be long term but I did score a stubby 9 " for cheap with axles and brakes.

Lastly I'd like to start the new year and good terms and am going to be doing another giveaway on my YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/Dirtfloorfab
Way to enter will be posted in a video at the beginning of February
For a set of frame notch/filler plates from when I was going to keep the car on stock suspension. Hopefully you all have a great new year in 2019

Just so you guys don't think I'm faking it when I say I'm still collecting parts 😂. Gonna be having a giveaway on some frame shave plates that I don't need seems we will be going back half on this car. Hopefully help someone out with their car build.
