I personally love a wagon with the smooth yet ribbed roof

Either way I'm sure it will look great with all the work you have been putting into it.

My grandpa stopped down to tell me how he'd do an LS swap... lol he's a good supervisor. Got my trans bolted to the motor no converter or anything just bolted together so I can locate mounts and stuff. Got it up over the front bumper and core support and figured out real quick that it wasn't gunna happen. By that time it was getting dark so I pushed all my stuff back in the shop and tore the bumper and grill shell off. I'll probably also tear the core support out if I get time to attempt tomorrow. Not gunna mess around pulling it in and out again.

Well I spent all weekend trying to get the barn build rolling today I called Menards to figure out where my building materials are. They said they are at the store. I asked why they haven't been delivered. They said they don't have a trailer big enough to deliver it. And don't know when they will. So won't be doing business there anymore. Reimed the GM of the store they told me week and a half max. It's been a month and a couple days. So they refunded it all and I went and paid 500$ more at home Depot for the same stuff.....

Now that the rant is over. I didn't get the engine in I had it dangled where I wanted it about 4 times only to find out things were in the way. Aka brake preportioner. So my gf who hates wagons actually helped me pull the brake stuff out of the way and I guess that's all for the week

So I got a ton of pictures for you guys and am working on editing the video. I have the motor sitting in the car. Pan is level with the cross member and it's sitting way back close to 6 to 7 inches would be my guess. Mounts didn't end up where I thought they would but it looks good so far

I haven't read the whole thread but if you're still thinking about 295s up front then you'll wanna consider a frame notch or some fender flares (including cutting away some of the stock fender). 255s on a lowered car will rub when you race. I have tested this. lol At ~2 degrees negative camber all of the rubbing occurred on the frame. With more neutral camber you'll rub the top of the wheel arch during corners. With 295s you'll likely have both problems at the same time.
I like the concept and I wish you luck.
