1963 Thunderbird. Customer bought as a suposed restored car. The quarters were litterally made of fiberglass and cardboard. We are doing a full rotisserie restoration.

Most of the work done on the quarters, alot of floor and rocker work done as well as engine/trans installed, new front springs, all 4 shocks new, new u-joints, new ball joints and new brakes.

Looks like a smooth firewall and filled cowl too. I was on board up to this point. Not sure how I feel about a chopped top though. I guess the customer is always right. Keep the progress pics coming.

I was a little uneasy about the top too until I started to see it come together. The chop is subtle but if you look at the roof line from the factory opposed to the one here it is alot sleaker. Kind of gives it a fastback look. I am not a big fan of the cowl vent delete on this car and the idea of shaving door handles etc but the guy wants it this way and he is paying so be it. lol
