Projects, it never ends. I need help

I did seat apholstery and plan on doing more. I even did a bow head liner which I must say turned out quite good. Welding is my Achilles's heel, I think a different welder is in order. I will buy a flux core next time one is 2 or $300 off. The speed knob is broken on my current welder and set on fast. In school I could get a decent weld on super slow with the mig. I need to do 1/4 panel skins on my 70 S. My putty work actually turns out quite nice. I am 41, has some arthritis and yeah projects take much longer. A new , bigger garage with floor heat and hoist would be the cats meow.

The trouble is that it takes less time to buy another project than to finish any individual project. The delusion is how far back from 'finished' are you willing to start?

You're worse than a kid in a candy store...😛 I could understand how you could become addicted to these projects. Sounds like some cool cars there, though. 😎

I know the feeling you guys have. I have no garage whatsoever and my only 2 vehicles are my '82 Olds and my '69 mustang. Yes I started with a Ford, dont hate! Right now I'm dailying the Mustang because the wagon isn't running right (see my thread if curious) but between finishing college, trying to stay afloat in one of the most expensive areas to rent in the entire country, and life I definitely realize this car thing is an addiction. Even my friend that I raced with briefly gets tired of how much I can bench race...

Funny thread.... I have been restoring my '89 K5 Jimmy Full Size since Sept '15. About 1 or 2 months ago I stumbled across my GP and couldn't say no. The K5 is still going hot and heavy. Got sidetracked for a few weeks getting the GP to "good enough until the K5 is done" condition. Which the GP hit today. I think the key is don't actually be working on two projects at the same time. I did some basic tune-up and repair type stuff to the GP so it's 100% drivable and not sitting around with rusty water in the radiator... that kind of stuff. K5 is back on track. I dropped the gas tank today. Put factory manifolds on it 2 days ago. Going going....
