I'm just saying if you want to build a strip/performance car that's gotta go. Unless you're throwing 28s or better on it. Then I'll leave you alone. If you want to drive south a little bit I've got some 5x4.75 30s I'll hook you up with.

This build is for my son. I didn't say this car was for the strip. Not to be an *ss but this is my money we're talking about spending here. I appreciate your input but I never asked any questions about a lift. I like my cutty mounted. I have a Dx block I'm building later tho. I also have a set of 15 inch cutlass rallies to go with.
Fosho actually St. Pete, Naples, and Miami is where I feel in love with the big wheels. My son is now 13, and it's something we share. I'm slowly converting him to drag.
We do the best of both worlds. My big son is 7 and has been much a part of my latest build and is not happy that I'm taking the 4s off for my weld drag lites until I get smaller tires.
My son has been in a cutlass since he was a baby. I had an 82 with a Chevy stroker and he fell in love with it. After I finish with his car, I will continue with the next project I hope he is still interested. We've got a lot going on with sports, school, and work. You know the typical things we all go thru.
