With the big rims, handling wise you don't have the sidewall flex to get in the way, but some of that is good, not bad. Depends on how much. Plus, you have to deal with the increased chance that a hole, speedbump, or whatever will not only F your tire, but F your rim as well.
This of course implies that your car isn't sitting 2' up in the air, which presents a whole new mess of problems. Center of gravity, steering and driveshaft angles, etc. etc.....
Not too mention it probably costs more than you paid for your car to get a good set of 22's and rubber. Something I don't quite get.

A 22" rim with total tire height of 27" will not absorb road inconsistancies like a 15" rim with overall diameter of 27" ... mainly because of the sidewall height/thicknessCarlola said:
