Looking at their halo girdle for the 403

J&S doesn't make a 4 cap one anymore

I have been using PRW modular oil caps for many years on any fabricated valve cover set up I do, these are nice quality for the price.
Though with engine fasteners I always use ARP , that is a part I don't want to compromise on.
Edit: Just realized I am also running their SBC polished aluminum water pump on my 355, that works well also

hit and miss with PRW, they outsource all manufacturing. Some in China and others from more trustworthy sources. Due Diligence will uncover the truth of where your specific PRW product is made.

If the price is right that girdle looks really good.

I was just looking at the girdle and was going to use an ARP stud kit

But after talking with their tech line I think I will pass on it,

They gave answers like

It should fit but

the oil pan should work but

How much?

It should be if the studs are upgraded. For the power you will put out, even no girdle should be fine.

I recall seeing bad things about those.
The Halo is much disputed amongst Ols guys.I can't see a downside to it, especially on a window block.
My only experience is this: when I gave it to Trimble, he didn't say "NO". That's on a steel 425 crank offset to BBC rod journals, 455 stock stroke in a 455 F block.
See if you can get ahold of a J&S Machine piece. Jim's an old hippie; he a trip.
