Just curious why as to run poly and rubber on the same trailing arm. I'm sure there is a reaon behind the suggestion.

to stop the suspention from binding.

and

so there is a weak point to break b4 the mount location on the frame breaks

When you say you already have new trailing arms, doyou mean new stock ones or new aftermarket ones? If they are stock ones, boxing them should do the trick.

i honestly dont know, but the rear end went in my car this weekendwhen my dad tried to do a brake stand, i should of known the reason why... the reason being was when we bought the car we drove it home not realizing there was no gear oil, there was a "howling" sound in the rear end.. then i put some posi trac additive in it and it quieted down... when we went to do the brake stand, we heard bang, and let off the brake, gave it gas and it wasnt moving, the drive shaft just kept spinning... we took the rear cover off and the gears, clutch plates, and everything were shattered..

That really sucks been there done that. If its a 7.5" ditch it and move on. You wont be sorry! 8)

That sucks about your rear going. But the fluid wasn't the cause of your wheel hop. So if your gonna have to rebuild it or replace it, I still recomend aftermarket arms, or box your factory ones. Because wheel hop will kill a rear too.
