I don't know if the glue will hold up with the heat but I wanted to hold the rubber in place while I install the rad. It's not going to move with the rad sitting on it and if I have to reglue it again if I remove the rad is easy enough

200 or so degrees isn't too hot and gorilla glue is pretty strong. I'll do the research on temp limits for various glue substrates.

I just test fit them on our radiator with 2.75-inch tanks and they fit well, they are rubber and would likely stretch to 3" but nothing a barrel sander wouldn't fix quickly.
