Rams Horns

They need to dump out the back otherwise they'll hit the engine crossmember, and the driver's side dumps shorter than the passenger side due to the shape of the driver's side floor for pedal clearance.

I just went through this in October when $hitcanning the junk headers that came on the SBC in my wagon in favor of stock manifolds and a freshly bent new exhaust system.
always liked the wagons...

seeing as the current exhaust is gonna have to be modified regardless of what you replace the long tubes with, why not put on a set of short headers.they're available new, pretty cheap and flow better than a manifold and not a pain like their long tube brothers

yeah have a set on 76 Chevelle that are pretty decent but for the elky I was really hoping to even avoid the small pain that shorty's are.

I would do cast iron over the stock "tubular" exhaust manifolds.

I actually used a set of the rams horns on my 81 malibu for a long time. I just cut the top corner off the front cross member. I don't have them anymore but I can take a picture of what I cut and post if you want.

I actually think i am dealing with that guy but thru FB marketplace. The last guy i dealt with had a buy it now on FB so i did... then he says I dont get paid thru FB fast enough wire me money. I said pay pal he say ok gives me shipping price but now wants 75 more than what we agreed. I said stick it and reported him as a scam to FB.
