Either that water is very cold or those units have not been down there all that long, no apparent sign or buildup of marine growth. So who threw 'em away?
Two Lane BlackTop. The car, aka, the real star of the picture, is supposed to be the same one that was used in American Graffity. Might or might not be true. The vehicle budget for them was not all that flush.
Bonnewagon, you happen to have any more shots of this motorcycle pulled chariot? This kind of racing was popular way way, back. Thinking the bike might be an Indian Scout or a 741 but the angle is bad and the motor mostly buried. The only clue is the front mounted generator which could be an Edison Splittsdorf or similar. The 101 Scout, 28-31, ran the front mount but the front end for them is 1/4 elliptic spring leafn ot what appears to be a single coil mounted in front of the frame neck. It is quite possible that someone hung an English front end on an Indian chassis; a lot of the competition bikes were bitsas to get the best power to weight ratio possible.
It’s an underwater museum created by Jordan over the last few years in the Gulf of Aqaba, and it’s quite sizable. There’s Dusters, a couple of Feret armored cars, Scimitars, the tanks are Khalids, variants of the Chieftan. There’s even a C-130 and a L-1011 TriStar down there.Either that water is very cold or those units have not been down there all that long, no apparent sign or buildup of marine growth. So who threw 'em away?
