The alternator in my March serpentine kit that I bought used from a member wasn't holding a charge. A friend advised getting it rebuilt instead of new. I found an old fashioned auto/electric shop 2 miles from me. Called them, quoted me $40-45 for a rebuild. Dropped off on Tuesday at 3. Got called at 12:30 Wensday that it was done and only needed a diode replaced for $25.00. Needless to say but I've found me an electric shop for ANY future needs.

I've been using Boulevard Generator on Ohio River Blvd for years.

There is Murrary Auto Electric in Ford City & Murrysville. The Ford City did a great job rebuilding a starter years ago. Before I moved to Armstrong Co. Boulevard Generator was the choice for rebuilds.

My main point is the honesty. These days when everyone usually rakes you over the coals for an extra dollar, they were honest about what mine needed.
