my t top monte came with this mirror in it, and im not thinking it was stock because there was no plug to it. however, these would be a great addition to the interior lighting whenever the doors were open, as well as finding something at night. my question is, where can i find one of these plugs and where would it lead to? my last cutlass had it i believe, and it went to the visor mirror/lights on the passengers side. this cutlass however, does not.

I have one and it's a great help...if you go to wreaking yard you should be able to find the socket you need. The wires are white and orange and black (or is it brown) for the ground. Just splice into the wires you'll find above the header

That mirror looks to be pretty much trashed. Like mentioned above hit the salvage yards, I found one in a late 80's Beretta and mid 90's S10. They were used a several GM products, if you get new enough one you can also add the temp and compass that is built in.

cool. i know about the white and orange ones, perhaps i could just splice into them. and as far as it being trash,i have a replacement glass piece to go into it.

I got one from a 2000s Mitsushitsi Eclipse with the lights. Im glad I found this thread because now im motivated to hook it up

got mine from a 94' Z28. pretty solid/ cheap mod to bring in more light.
