X3--- Man you gotta be kidding. I love the Grand Am nose. Wish I had one to bolt onto my wagon.

I've seen several threads about that Grand Am Camino. It is infact a GM experimental car...wish i owned it.

I'm sure Oldtinsmith Doug will chime in about that.

This has been posted a couple of times, I think someone wants to do this conversion to there el camino. I think it's oldtinsmith??? IDK. I love pontiac's before chevys but the grand am front is ugly on that truck haha

And here I was thinking ... "what moron put a pickup bed on their Grand Am!"

I heard thet there were two of these made, but that one was destroyed.
I know one is in the Pontiac museum. It was listed for sale for a Barrett Jackson event ~ 3 years ago. The word was that a GM executive pulled the car from the list before the auction. This is when they were selling off a bunch of 1 off/ special production vehicles.

I have photos of one with vinyl interior with the 1978 Grand Am door panels. The one pictured here has El Comino or Malibu door panels and seats too...not sure exactly..

Also noticed that it has the after market chevy truck molding for the front bumber trim (it's all we can find that is close). Phillips head screws to attatch the front turn lenses instead of the torque hear screws...
Very nice..thanks for posting.

Sorry guys, I love grand ams, I love el caminos... but those two in my opinion just don't match I like everything else about it though.

So most of you will think that somebody constructed this grand am to look like an el camino but the guy said that it was a test vehicle for gm. Test vehicle as in taking many different parts and swaping them to see what would be most appealing and convenient for the buyer. He said that Gm had only made 2 of them so please enjoy!
that thing is ****ing sick! lol
