I had one like that on my jeep, started off with a 3/16 drill and drilled into the center of the stud, then got a bigger drill and then a bigger one till the stud was thin enough to break off, then replaced the stud.

I was worried I might have to do this. I need to learn to keep my big mouth shut, lol.

or if you can find a socket thats just a hair smaller then the lug nut try hammering it on there and seeing if that will get it to come off, I used that method taking wheel locks off my GP

I did this as well with my wheel locks,
if that fails, you can buy one of these

X2

x3.....I tried all of the other suggestions plus tried to weld a nut on it

I tried drilling it, it only got worse. The thing is really ****ed up. I'm gonna give the car back to my uncle and tell him to take it to a shop and get it removed, then bring it back and I'll replace the stud and do the brakes for him. I spent 4 hours this morning trying to get the SOB out. But, the rear brakes and shocks were pretty painless though! I also got a huge scuff out of the side of the car for him too, so he'll be happy about that.

I have never used this method but I have heard rumors of people using Freon on the lug nut then hitting with a hammer to break the stud.
Whether or not this actually works I have no idea, but it sounds good in theory.
