My 86 GP is very similar to that.. All original, low miles, Orig or 2nd owner, numbers matching, etc.

Ive been offered $5k Four Times, $7k Twice, and $9k Once.

I have to be honest, the $9k gave me pause, but I turned it down.

$10k would be the minimum I would take, especially with the documentation I have on it, and the fact that I am the second owner. The more I put into it, the more it would cost someone. Once the exhaust (headers, duals) and the rear end (28 spline, posi 3.73) is done, that number would go to $12k.

Like my father always said:

"Everything on the planet is for sale... for the right price. You may not like that price, but it IS for sale."

I don't think so but I hope more parts become available like they did with the A bodies
But it only applies to the second gen A's ('68-'72). The it really supports the '70-'72 Chevelles (mainly SS's). The have redesigned many parts over the past 35+ years for those cars. The first gen would be second (again SS driven) with the third & our fourth gen fighting to get parts. Our generation is doing better but again limited to SS's with GNX/GN following with most parts coming out for them. Now get out of the Chevy's for whats out there, I'd say the Pontiacs being driven by GTO parts would follow, again falling under the second gen cars. Olds & Buick are at the lower end. In some aspects our cars as parts should be worth something as dispite the numbers built from the summer of '77 to the fall '87 but they are not.

Paid $7k in 2017 for an estate 86 Monte, 81k, original paint, garaged from new, no winter salt. Figured I couldn't fix my rusty 86 Monte w 440k for that. Your best $ spent is the upfront $.

Agreed. Wish I had $6k to get back into a Chevy like that and have the Olds AND a Chev. My first few cars were ‘70-‘72 Montes

Would be a sweet car to have. Perfect for an LS, lowering, nice rims/tires (18" or bigger), and some custom paint/vinyl/blackout/etc. Leave the interior alone. I guess I really am a Gbody fanatic...
That looks like a sweet survivor to keep that way.
