Anyone have some pictures of their car with bolt in rear control arm braces? I bought a set thinking I may as well seeing as I'm doing other rear suspension upgrades. But I have an actual exhaust on my car, and seeing as the mufflers on 95% of G-bodies are right next to the lower control arm mount, that renders these useless.

I just want to see if anyone has a picture of these. I'm just not happy considering looking at their instructions it shows the braces on a rotted to death car with no exhaust at all

Good question 79loserbluebu. I bought a pair also so I've been wondering the samething. It's been just a little bit to cold in the garage lately to go under the car and look around at this.
I'll be watching and waiting with ya.

Those rear control arms are made to fit in stock lacation . I would think if your exhaust is clearing the stock ones you shouldn't have problems with the ones you bought.

I tried installing them last night and unless I remove the mufflers and put straight pipes these aren't going to work. Seems like unless you have the stock exhaust or dumps these wont work. I wish I would have known they weren't going to fit with aftermarket exhaust beforehand

Is there a real benefit with these? It crossed my mind when i was buying my rear arms last year but i couldn't ever imagine the mounts being ripped out or them offering any real bracing besides for the lower mount.

I'm hoping to have my car hauled back her in the next week. I'll snap some pics. I have the Edelbrock ones (as well as the rest of the Edelbrock rear stuff), with full exhaust out the rear. But the exhaust was put on after the braces were. And if I remember correctly, the guy had to chop the factory exhaust off to put them on.

Also like to add. The exhaust guy said he loves the aftermarket rear suspension parts. It gave him a lot more room.
