Rear end 8.5 or 8.2? help

Hi

I got an impala 1971, I want to use this rear in my Camino 1980. But I don't know if is an 8.2 or 8.5. Somebody can tell me?

I'm fairly confident that's an 8.5 due to the 90 degree tabs on the bottom corners of the housing. Just not sure if they are dirt build up or not lol.

Its gonna take some doing to get that rear under the camino. It is wider than the camino rear, but with time and money anything can be overcome.

this is my 67 Chevelle 8.2 in my GP...the cover is distinctive for the 8.2 and you'll see it has cut outs at the bottom and no tabs..
