OP has a point though, if its not enough to give the girl a ticket the insurance company usually would just fight it and possibly not give any money in the first place. Plus I've heard a case where the guy being hit, his premium went up because someone smashed him. Insurance companies suck and I hate dealing with them, if its a big hit and needs a lot of body work on panels ya get money, but if its just a bumper who cares.
