http://www.p-s-t.com/ This is a good place. But to really do it right you would want to source all MOOG parts. Some time spent on the 'net will get you everything at the best prices, unless someone knows of a MOOG package deal offer?

Got a question for ya. After unbolting the shocks, if the hydraulic in the floor jack were to fail, would the rear come shooting down with a bunch of force because of the springs?

No. It will only go so far anyway with the trailing arms still bolted on. Most of the time they almost fall out once you disconnect the shocks and lower the rearend.

Ok thanks. Sounds much safer and easier than the front. My brother and I rebuilt the front suspension in my 83 cutlass, and was I nervous using the spring compressor.

I'm not a fan of playing with front springs either. I've heard some horror stories of them getting loose, going through cinder block walls and decapitating people for instance.

It can be done without the use of a spring compressor, but for peace of mind and confidence, I would use it.
You can rent one for the day fairly inexpensively.

As for the front of the car bouncing. Your shocks are probably toast. You might want to look into a set of decent gas shocks.
I like the KYB Gas A-just shocks. Good bang for the buck.
Mark (Bonnewagon) is right. Get good MOOG components. I haven't seen MOOG components offed at a package deal. You'll have to shop around for the best prices.

Yup shocks are shot. Wasn't able to get new ones today. My buddy has an account with pro auto parts but closed. A penny saved is a penny towards future parts . So were gonna do springs today and I'm taking ur guys advise and shop around for all the other moog components. I guess one thing at a time isn't all that bad as long as it is all done right. Plus I'm learning as I go so little things here and there is good for me. I'm learning a lot. Watch out guys pretty soon I might just have to start a thread on a new project lol. Jk I have a ways to go. But there's not much else I can do to the regal. And I'm addicted to learning and g bodys. I'm really considering getting a wagon and do it all on my own. Just for the knowledge ill gain 🙂

I like to see someone with ambition and enthusiasm. Good for you. Learn as much as you can, read how-to books, have an experienced friend help you out. Definitely shop around for your best deals. Having a buddy with an auto parts account should save you some money. Just do your homework and spend it wisely.
You have a very clean looking Regal there. Take good care of it and treat her nicely.

Yea at first I wanted to do a swap. But advice from u guys made more sence than me wanting to mess with a perfectly low mlg car that is basically flawless. I'd be better of getting a project. I mean I can't F up a project but I sure can this car lol. My buddy is a great mechanic and very patient with me explains how to and why to do things. He's a long time friend and would do it for free but times are tough for him right now. He works as a master welder for a local off roading shop does amazing work but with the economy the way it is times arnt as good as they once where for him. So we help each other out. Not saying I give him tons of $$ but I'd rather have him show me and at the same time help him and his family. He brings his babies over and the misses and we work on the car and make a day out of it. Bbq and today watch the bears breaking down defensivley 🙁 sorry to ramble lol but I'm blessed to have a friend that doesn't expect just does it because he's a friend.I guess I just felt he deserves to know he's appreciated
