OK, I'm very much in the planning stage. The car will be an '81 to '87 Grand Prix. LS3/6L80e/12 bolt Chevy or 9" Ford rear. I have settled on 17" x 9" with 5" back spacing Wheel Vintiques Pontiac Rallye II's. I will use a 275-40-17 tires which should be very close to the stock tire diameter. I will have the same wheels in 17" x 8" with 4-1/2" back spacing with 225-50-17's up front. I want a stock appearing profile. I have four questions:

1) Since I will be customizing a rear, what distance, backing plate to backing plate, would I need to put the outside of the tire in the stock location?

2) With the wheel/tire in this location, will I have issues with the tire or Wheel contacting the frame?

3) Will I have any rubbing issues up front?

4) What is the largest brake rotor that I can use without interference?

Thanks in advance.
