rearend swap

Hey dose anyone know if any g-body rear-end will swap out with any other g-body 78-88 10 bolt 7.5 or 8.5 ? I heard that some where about 1982-83 something had changed on the frame. What kind of mods or yoke changes will I need to do ? Thanks Tim.

Any 78-88 gbody rearend will bolt directly in any gbody frame assuming all the stock mounts are there. The 8.5 requires a 1" shorter driveshaft than the 7.5.
