rebuilding my 455 again

I had a standard bore engine that cleaned up at a machine honed 0.0045. I had a set of new standard high compression cast TRW pistons that I had put on the rods. I figured it would be a near new engine. It ran strong. I couldn't leave well enough alone. It was a Olds 455 with small valve C heads. I decided to put better large valved C's on it. When I pulled the drivers side I saw a single score in one cylinder. I knew it was fresh. Wrist pin was loose. I could push it out of the rod. Block cleaned up at 30 over. I put another rod on the piston, I plan on using them in another engine. Unusual for 2 pins to walk in the same engine. Maybe you can sleeve the scored cylinders and bore it 30 over. Just another option. Good luck.
