Hi all,

I'm thinking this 600 edelbrock is just way too much carb for my little 231 ci. Any recommendations on a smaller two barrel? The 231 is a new engine for me, having worked on v8's most of my early life. The engine has apparently been gone through, cam etc. Thanks in advance.

I used to have a Holley 500 cfm 2 barrel that would run great on anything I put it on from V6 to mild V8's.

Thanks for the suggestion, that's what I was looking at.

Yes I see that the 350 is also an option, but considering this engine has been rebuilt/balanced and has a cam, would the 500 be a better choice?.........and, can I use an adapter for the mani or do I need to replace that too?..........sorry, it's been 40 years since high school auto...........🙂

On a 3.8 I'd go 350 cfm. Still a lot bigger than the stock carb. And yes you can use an adapter
