That's cool. I hope it all comes together well for you. It actually doesn't look like that difficult a job.

Well I got started on pulling the v6 out
And now since the last time I posted was going with a olds 350 but since then I picked up a olds 403 going to tear it down and see how it is if bad I'll just go with the 350 till I have time to build the 403 just hope it needs a refreshing job

Well 403 is not going to happen needs way more than I want to deal with right now thought is was going to be a quick garage rebuild as I call it like new rings and bearings cam lifters and so on.
So back to plan A olds 350 so in the next few days/weeks will be tearing down the 350 for a garage rebuild. Few pics of the 403

Have a pic of the piston from that cylinder?
 
Sitting outside or bad head gasket?
 
Engine was in a Trans Am in a barn with the hood off and the carb was half off I was told so I guess the roof leaked it was a 100 dollar gamble now it will made into a coffee table
