why not just buy a brand new ABS plastic headliner with what ever color material you want on it for $129 from dixiemonte carlo or g-body parts. its alot easier than removing your old one and getting it redone or trying to do the crappy old car style suspend bow thingy.

You can buy felt at any cloth store, get some yards at wal-mart for 8$, they are going out of fabric business so everything is on sale until they sell out. You can also use Elmers fabric glue in a can 3$ a can, it works just as well or better than 3M --- for felt to cloth, or felt to cardboard/stock/masonite only --- If it isn't wide enough, run one seam down the middle, or glue one thick piece down the middle after you've glued two pieces the length of the thing on the sides (two seams)

Or you can get one of these, they're amazing.

The headliners that dixie and g-body parts sell are already covered in felt, so there is no difference in appearance. i'd rather buy a new board with it already covered then try to reuse an old board and get that recovered

at night and early morning is the best time during the summer!
