I like the idea of using your existing A/C box and fiberglassing it. I bought a panel from A/C Delete. http://acdelete.com/pages/78-88_G-Body.htm
It took alot of modification but it was worth it and looks good. I'd post a picture but dont have any on this computer (i'm at work)

Thanks! I was working with what I had. Used to be able to pick up a non-a/c box every day in my local yards, of course I never did  Shoulda woulda coulda.... Not really hard, just took about week, apply fiberglass, wait for it to cure, sand, second layer, sand, bondo to smooth it out, sand, primer, paint, reassemble 😀 You can kind of see where I used paint sticks to bridge the large gaps and help give it some support. Also 3" wide 3M masking tape works great too! Fiberglass wont stick to the sticky side of the tape. HTH, Shawn

I cut mine today, Ill start glassin it tomorow.

got it done, needs better paint but Ill do it this winter.

That looks great!!!!!

Nicely done. It actually looks factory stock and better than the heater delete plates...plus it retains the heater/ blower function.

i sure do miss that a/c and heat. espec. the defrost when it rains. some day i got to put in the non a/c unit i have for it. clearance wasn't a issue at all.

I had to keep the heater, plus I hate the heater delete plates unless its a race car.
