removing contact cement from door panels

well i used a combination of heat gun to remove the vast majority of the glue and then goo gone spray to clean it up, it was slow going but it cleaned just about all of it off and ruined to old t-shirts along the way... lol, i'm thinking that glue won't wash out...lol. then i washed the panels in the tub and am currently painting with my new interior color... i'm dying to get my door panels done since i got my buckets in today, it's all coming together 😀 / i really wanted to be able to paint into the crevices where the carpet won't cover since i'm changing the color of the panels.
