With all the work I've been doing on the regal i always put my jacks under my lower CA's...now that I'm removing the upper and lower CA's (and springs) I'm wondering the best place to put the jacks now. I've seen a few different placements from pics here on the forum but I want to get some input from people on the SAFEST way to go...

Why not place them under the frame just behind the front wheels, just forward of the front doors.

well i dont really play it safe(ask elcowarren lol) but when i took my LCA off i put the jack right under the ball joint and once the spindle was disconnected the arms seperate.. but im sure there are safer ways..lol

Anywhere on the frame

To me, the safest way to support a car is to have it sitting level on 4 stands under the frame inboard of the wheels, where a lift would be placed. ....just my opinion

Are we talking about jack stands to support the vehicle, or actually using a floor jack to remove the lower control arms?
I agree with Bill's statement.

-1 not on the C section unless it's boxed

-2 on the C section of the frame. I've already made that mistake once. A boxed frame is a different story.
