removing vinyl top on '80 Cutlass...

nevermind. i was gonna ask a question about re-installing a new vinyl top, but i just looked at them again and i cant do it. i friggin hate the vinyl top look . one way or the other im doing away with mine

I dont nnow what to expect from my 87 gp cus ive had a 79 gp and the rear windows wernt leaded in or anything just rivited, and there was holes everywhere but that car was a mess to begine with , anyone have luck with the making studs for the rear window clips i already bought the trim for the rear window. Also the gap inbetween the filler panel in frknt of the trunk going towards the window looks like there is a larger gap when i pulled the vinyl top trim back to peak anyone have to change that piece to or is that normal.?

from what i hear that filler panel needs swapped out cuz of that gap being to big. i heard this from one of the members here who has a bunch of cuttys and restores them.
